HOW DOES THIS WORK?

It’s simple. After you’ve signed up and agreed to our terms and conditions, just place a specially-coded link on your website and/or blog that leads to The CBI Clubhouse. If the customer you send our way decides to join, you receive 20% of their membership total, month after month. Even if the customer doesn’t join that day, you can still benefit: if he or she comes back to the page and places an order later, you’ll be credited!

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?

The simplest way to get started is to place one or more of our ready-to-use ads on your site and/or blog. It will link directly to the Clubhouse. However, based on our experience, affiliate programs are most successful when affiliates do a bit more to entice visitors to click on the link. Setting up a children’s writing tips section on your site, reprinting some of our articles or creating a special page of “featured resources” (highlighting our link) are just some good ideas. We’ll be happy to help provide articles and materials you might need if you’re interested in creating a special children’s writing section.

IS THERE ANY COST OR OBLIGATION ON MY PART?

No. The program is free to join for anyone with an appropriate website, blog or e-zine (inappropriate sites include, but are not limited to, those that: contain obscene or sexually explicit materials; promote gambling; promote violence; promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age; promote illegal activities; violate intellectual property rights; or promote the use of bulk e-mail or spam). You can leave the program at any time.

DOES JOINING YOUR PROGRAM LIMIT ME IN ANY WAY AS FAR AS MY SITE OR BLOG IS CONCERNED?

No — it’s your site and you’re certainly free to list other resources or participate in other affiliate programs.

There is one absolute no-no, however — NO SPAMMING! If you use unsolicited e-mail or newsgroup/message board postings to promote your link, your account will be terminated immediately.

HOW WILL I KNOW IF MY LINK IS GENERATING ORDERS?

You’ll be able to check your statistics, include the money you’ve earned, 24 hours a day.

I JUST CHECKED MY STATS. IT SAYS AN ORDER WAS PLACED FROM MY LINK, BUT I HAVEN’T BEEN CREDITED WITH THE MONEY YET. HOW COME?

Credit is given once an order is confirmed — either by receiving an approval of the submitted credit card or receipt of a check. In most cases where a credit card is used, there will be a delay of only an hour or two between the time the order is placed and your account is credited.

HOW DO I GET PAID?

The easiest way is to sign up with PayPal. It’s a great service that makes receiving your payment quick and easy — you can even choose to have your money deposited directly into your checking account! You simply sign up with PayPal. I SEE YOU HAVE A $25 PAYMENT THRESHOLD. WHAT’S THIS?

Rather than sending out a constant stream of small payments, we’ll send a payment to you each time your amount due reaches $25. If, for some reason, you choose to leave the program before reaching the threshold, we’ll send a final payment of whatever is due.
