Bryan Cohen is an author, blogger, director, actor and producer. While he originally moved to Chicago for improvisational comedy, he channeled his love for the creative into a writing career. His website Build Creative Writing Ideas, which focuses on motivating and inspiring writers of all ages, receives over 30,000 visits a month. His books include 1,000 Creative Writing Prompts, 1,000 Character Writing Prompts, 500 Writing Prompts for Kids,  Writer on the Side,  Sharpening the Pencil  and a novella, Ted Saves the World .

His plays include *Chekhov Kegstand* and *Covenant Coffee*. He once played an evil Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer in a dark Christmas comedy. He can’t wait to share his writing prompt knowledge with the CBI community.
