Today, we reveal the three fantastic nonprofits we'll all be partnering
with to promote global literacy and childhood education.
DAY TWO: CBI's NEW NONPROFIT PARTNERS
We're making a stand for worldwide literacy, and we're inviting each of you to
come along and participate. Right now, we're developing programs with these
three outstanding nonprofits to promote reading, build schools and bring
educational opportunities to children everywhere:
Worldreader provides technology and ebooks to children in developing
nations, giving teachers the tools to teach reading, families the
opportunity to learn together, and children a pipeline to the outside world
and the possibilities it contains. Because of this partnership, we'll be
giving you the opportunity to have your work read by children throughout the globe!
The Pubslush Foundation is the nonprofit arm of the popular crowdfunding
platform for writers.The foundation funds and supports literacy efforts around
the world, highlighting innovative programs that are making a difference. With
this partnership, you'll be able to make a real difference in your own
community.
World Teacher Aid enlists North American schoolchildren to help build
schools in sub-Saharan Africa, using children's books that the schoolkids
create to raise the needed funds! We'll be giving you the chance to promote
the art of writing to children in your community to bring educational
opportunities to children in Africa.
We know that our folks are passionate, caring, action-oriented people, and we're
honoring that with these partnerships.
That's why our partnerships with these organizations will be much more than
placing a few "Donate Here" on our site. We'll be getting involved in projects
that will give each of you a meaningful role in promoting literacy and getting
great books into the hands of children everywhere.
